Two day coiling masterclass for anyone who has already tried their hand at preliminary coiling and can prepare their own clay (those who’ve attended my beginners workshops are automatically eligible). This is an opportunity to move your work to a more informed, disciplined and confident level in a small group, building a single larger piece over two days.
This workshop is immersive and fast paced in an inclusive, supportive and gentle atmosphere. I will share my troubleshooting and rescue hints and tips with you and you’ll feel the benefit of learning alongside others.
Class is held in the historic round tower, Black Swan Arts in Frome and runs from 9.30-4.30. Maximum of 6 participants. Please bring an apron and box (around 30-40 cm) to take your work home. All other materials and tools are provided. Refreshments available from the Loud Mouth cafe or bring your own lunch. Parking is opposite at the Cheese and Grain. Frome has rail connections. Please note that due to the small numbers payment secures your place but is subject to a non-refundable 50% deposit.
